Allen Neal is one of those artists that will indeed captivate you. His wordplay, lyrical content, story telling ability, energy and diversity is what sets him apart from your everyday artist. He was born Allen Neal McCowan Jr. Growing up in the northeast area of Washington D.C. At a young age there weren't many avenues for him to gravitate towards. Playing basketball and baseball were his primary focuses from the age of 8 until his teenage years were almost complete. He played AAU in both sports and could have very well pursued a professional career in either of the two sports but found music in the process of finding himself. Music was his way to give enlightenment to people who may not have known his story. On his journey of music he has transitioned from having the range of Hip Hop to incorporating sounds such as Reggae, Rock, EDM, Alternative, Pop and more. Influences such as Eminem, The Beatles, 2Pac, Guns & Roses, Michael Jackson, Linkin Park have driven him to be a better musician. Over the years he's accomplished such feats as having two of his singles titled "Power" and "Dreamchasers" played on FM radio in daily rotation as well as having NFL Wide Receiver Antonio Brown from the Pittsburgh Steelers use the single Power for one of his training videos.
